Remembering Truckers on Christmas

| |

For the past decade, Maria and Pieter Vlaming brave the wind and cold to deliver Christmas parcels to truck drivers who have to be out on the road and away from their families on Christmas Day.

The Vlamings are members of Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Other church members also donate items for the gift parcels and help deliver them. Each parcel includes a Bible donated by Canadian LifeLight Ministries.

“It’s so amazing to see how happy the truck drivers are to receive that parcel on that special morning,” Maria said.
