For Mary Bouma and Marcel Busz, having wedding photos taken in a bicycle shop was a natural choice. The two met when they both cycled across Canada in 2005 as part of the Sea to Sea tour that commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Christian Reformed Church in Canada.
The wedding, which took place Dec. 2 in Maranatha Christian Reformed Church of Belleville, Ontario, featured tiny groomsmen (the bride’s nephews) who came down the aisle on bicycles and a wedding cake with two little Playmobil ™ cyclists in Sea to Sea jerseys.
The couple now lives in Lethbridge, Alberta, and worships at Nobleford CRC.
