California Church Celebrates Diversity

Rosewood Christian Reformed Church in Bellflower, Calif., recently celebrated the congregation’s diversity with singing, dancing, people in indigenous dress, and a reading of Psalm 117:1 in 10 different languages. “Unity is not threatened by diversity,” said Rev. Dan Brink, pastor of the congregation that has people from 20 different countries of origin. Julieta Condoretti, event coordinator, said, “It was like a small sample of what is going to happen in heaven.”
