Moses M. Jawara, president of the Christian Reformed Church of Sierra Leone (CRC-SL), brought greetings to Synod 2025. He expressed thanks for the support of the CRC in North America, especially Resonate Global Ministry.
“Thank you for your support, for standing with us,” he said. He told delegates that in 1980 they had no churches and now there are 40 congregations.
CRC-SL also runs 15 schools across the country, with 1,966 students enrolled. However, Jawara said, only nine of 66 teachers are trained and qualified.
Jawara said one of their greatest needs is for help in equipping pastors and new Christian leaders to lead the growing church.
