Life in a Day

Enlisted by producer Ridley Scott and National Geographic, amateur videographers in over 190 countries captured moments of everyday life on July 24, 2010 and submitted over 5,000 hours of video to YouTube. Sometimes the 90-minute film feels like so much more YouTube, with people sharing personal reflections or family moments. Other times, viewers get glimpses of how diverse and how similar all God’s people are. Seek out the longer clips that tell short stories, like that of a Peruvian shoeshine boy. Available on DVD, or view it for free on YouTube. (Virgil)
