Pastors and missionaries aren’t allowed on university campuses in Mexico.

From April 2024 through April 2025, 10 events took place across North America that brought Christian Reformed church leaders and members together to talk about ministry.

Recognizing the shared interest among neighboring churches to engage younger members, the idea of holding a collective training event took root.

Resonate, the Christian Reformed Church’s mission agency, uses Timothy Leadership Training to equip pastors and other Christian leaders with a Reformed worldview of mission.

These “healthy and sustained connections to the broader church” provide opportunities for fruitful ministry, advocacy, shared vision, and a unified voice within and outside North America.

In partnership with Texas A&M University Central Texas, these chaplains pursue a master’s degree in counseling while completing over 500 hours of supervised counseling.

Yet she thought prayer, particularly intercessory prayer, was not a spiritual discipline she was particularly good at.

When we began praying in this way, brilliant ideas started to flow.

The way God works through prayer never ceases to amaze me.

In many schools in our own neighborhoods, support for different abilities and learning styles is expected.

The reality for these children is that they face a lot of barriers to their dreams—starting with their education.

All members of the Christian Reformed Church in North America are invited to join in prayer for Synod 2025.

Together, our churches can provide more resources for thriving ministry and can spread the gospel farther than we could on our own.

Christians showing tangible acts of love at ministry centers allows them to enter into relationships with Indigenous communities.

For millions of people who live in remote areas or places with limited access to churches, media ministry offers a lifeline.

The Family Fire team addresses struggles that often go unspoken—challenges in marriage, parenting, and spiritual growth—while reminding believers of God’s unfailing love.

Accountability is best when it happens in a relationship and carries with it a commitment to walk with the person or group being held accountable.
