On Feb. 22, folks from New Life Christian Reformed Church in Abbotsford, B.C., opened their homes and hearts for “Let’s do Lunch” Sunday potlucks. Hosts and guests gathered in small groups to share food, laughter, and fellowship right where they live. It wasn’t just about a meal. It was about practicing hospitality in a way that builds real connections across neighborhoods.
The church first tried this two years ago in response to a sermon series called “At the Table,” which focused on hospitality and being an open and welcoming community of believers.
For this second event 100 people participated with 12 hosts.
