Inwood (Iowa) Christian Reformed Church celebrated its 100th birthday in April with a focus on “100 Years of God’s Faithfulness.”

The festivities included dinner, a Sunday service recognizing previous pastors, and a gospel-music worship service.

The town of Inwood has a strong local economy, and its churches enjoy a good ecumenical spirit.

“Inwood has seen many instances of tragedies and many instances of God’s love and grace,” said Sam Krikke, pastor at Inwood CRC. “Through all of these things we have seen God's hand at work, and so the theme of faithfulness was natural.”
