Southern California delegates to Synod 2011 gather for orientation.
Early in May, Classis Greater Los Angeles, Classis California South, and Classis Pacific Hanmi sent their delegates for Synod 2011 to Rosewood Christian Reformed Church to prepare for this year’s synod (the Christian Reformed Church’s annual leadership meeting).
First-time delegates heard from Rev. Bonny Mulder-Behnia about synodical procedures and practices. They also discussed some of the issues on this year’s agenda.
Rev. David Suh, a delegate from Pacific Hanmi, said the orientation was helpful in preparing delegates with a lot of information about upcoming issues.
