United Kingdom singer-songwriter Philippa Hanna’s beautiful and soothing voice highlights her six-song EP, titled “Live from the ‘Old Chapel.’” Recorded at the Old Chapel Studios in England, the music displays powerful and heartfelt emotion with strong, Christ-like lyrics. Besides Hanna’s silvery voice, the instrumentation is striking and includes a grand piano, double bass, acoustic guitar, hammered dulcimer, and ambient drums. “I’m really enjoying exploring the way instrumentation can elevate our expressions of worship," Philippa said in a release. The heart of ‘Live From The Old Chapel’ is a celebration of music; one of God's greatest gifts to us. "Taking these songs to a different space creatively has been my way of giving thanks for them." The first song, “You’re Still God,” declares his authority and states in part, “When all foundations have been shaken; When I’m left standing in the dark; And all I feel is my heart breaking; You still reign and you’re still God.” “One People,” a solid anthem, calls for revival and unity in Christ.  “Now to Jesus” focuses on his care in difficult circumstances. This record brings peace to the soul. (Integrity Music)
