Worship Initiative’s Aaron Williams offers his first full-length project, “The Hope of Christ,” centered on the grace, love, and rest Jesus offers.

“The overarching theme that inspired this project is summed up in ‘Abide,’” Williams said in a release. “We live in a world that often leaves us feeling like the only way forward is to hustle, achieve, and prove our value. Jesus offers a different way of life—a way that still leads to fruitfulness but does so out of a place of acceptance and life-giving relationship. To abide is to learn to live in dependence on God for all things.” This record is a jewel with songs such as the title cut, “Christ is Enough,” “Walk by Faith,'' and “No Height No Depth.” The latter, a beautiful ballad, was written about Williams’s close friend who nearly died from mental illness. A verse states, “I don’t understand the hurt; But I don’t have the answers; When I am fighting to believe; You are never far from me.” This joyful worship album reminds the listener of a profound truth—there is security in Christ and none other.
