It’s refreshing when artists believe they can freely express themselves with their music. Bethel’s Josh Baldwin accomplishes this feat with his second recording—Evidence. “More than any other record I’ve done, my roots really come through in this project," Baldwin said in a release. "I feel like I’m finally fully revealing who I am as an artist.” Baldwin relies on his North Carolina roots to infuse his record with a country/bluegrass feel. Listeners will experience such sounds as banjo, harmonica, and steel guitar. The title cut is the jewel of the album and received serious radio airplay. The song celebrates God’s faithfulness and in part says: “I see the evidence of Your goodness; All over my life, all over my life; I see your promises in fulfillment; All over my life, all over my life; See the cross, the empty grave, The evidence is endless; All my sin rolled away; Because of You, oh Jesus.”  This record invites listeners to celebrate God’s goodness and direction in their lives.
