God Hears Her is a new podcast aimed at Christian women looking for new voices to help guide them through the joys and trials of everyday life. Produced by Our Daily Bread Ministries, the podcast is hosted by Elisa Morgan and Eryn Eddy.
Morgan was CEO of MOPS International for 20 years, is author of numerous books, and is co-host of Our Daily Bread’s radio program Discover the Word. Eddy is founder and CEO of So Worth Loving, a lifestyle clothing brand. Eddy’s first book releases in early 2021.
These two experts will appeal to women of all ages thanks to their sage advice, humor, and deep love for and understanding of Scripture. The podcast explores the truth that God hears you and loves you no matter what, because you are his. Their experiences and that of guests such as Margaret Feinberg and Phillip Yancey help create a program that challenges and encourages.
The 25-minute podcast releases weekly, with the initial show having aired May 11 and the season lasting 12 weeks. At least two more seasons are planned. Women (and men) will enjoy the repartee between the hosts and guests and the solid biblical teaching. They’ll also enjoy the book God Hears Her: 365 Devotions for Women by Women, which was released in 2017 and was the impetus for the podcast. A second book, God Sees Her: 365 Devotions for Women by Women, released in March 2020.
The God Hears Her podcast, along with the devotionals and community built around Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the website godhearsher.org, will encourage women at a deep level. This podcast is well worth hearing. It is available on all podcast platforms.
