Collaboration between the Christian Reformed Church, the Reformed Church in America, and the Presbyterian Church (USA) has resulted in a new Korean-American congregation in Holland, Mich.

The Holland Korean Church will be led by Rev. John Kim, a church planter and missionary pastor who served in both the U.S. and Korea. Kim said many Koreans have moved to the area because of big companies such as the LG battery plant.

Kim previously taught at Calvin Theological Seminary and Tyndale Theological Seminary and has served as the Korean Ministry director for Christian Reformed Home Missions.
