The creators of The Jesus Storybook Bible have once again combined their creative energies in Known: Psalm 139, a companion to Near, their board book based on the same psalm.
In this bright, easy-to-handle board book, young children will encounter a young boy who understands that God knows and loves him completely: “God is a good Daddy / and I am his little child. / He knows when I wake up and when I put my shoes on / and when I run outside to play. / He knows my name / and the color of my eyes / and the dreams inside my heart. / He knows everything about me. / And he loves me completely.” The boy also realizes that God is interested in what he thinks and says; that God listens to him when he talks to God; that God thinks about him all the time; and that God cares for him every day of his life. In a sweet conclusion, the smiling boy realizes “no wonder God knows me so well ... / He made me!”
