In its report to the Christian Reformed Church’s synod and in earlier communication to the Calvin Theological Seminary community, Calvin seminary’s board of trustees indicates commitment to the church’s confessional standards.
The Church Order Review Task Force recommends consistency for supervision of ministers serving in noncongregational settings and a continued single-track process for occasions of a pastor being released from service to a church.
Preparing for a heavy agenda and because last year’s synod was unable to complete its work in the time available, the Christian Reformed Church’s Council of Delegates has agreed to “allow an online convening session” Wednesday, May 29.
