Decorated Christian music artist Russ Taff has earned multiple Dove and Grammy awards and holds a place in the Gospel Music Association’s Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Taff’s versatility is on full display with Believe, his first new album in more than seven years.
The veteran performer infuses his album with gospel, Christian rock, and pop. His two signature songs, “I Still Believe” and “We Will Stand,” are wrapped around several recent popular songs such as Amy Grant’s “Don’t Try So Hard” and David Crowder’s “I Am.” Grant and Crowder both appear on the album, helping Taff sing their respective songs.
Taff also offers a traditional church hymn, “There Is a Fountain.” This project should appeal to a variety of listeners from an artist with a long-time influence and a powerful voice. (Sweetwater Studios)
